Over 150 students took on the challenge of reinventing urban uses in 48 hours.

Last weekend, Gustave Eiffel University hosted a hackathon focused on smart cities. Working in multidisciplinary teams, participants tackled challenges such as waste management, mobility, and energy efficiency.

Supported by mentors from academia and industry, students proposed innovative solutions combining digital technologies and environmental issues. Several projects stood out, including a smart urban traffic management application.

The event strengthened connections between students, researchers, and companies while promoting creativity and innovation.
